Lori S. Koller
Lori received her BA in Dance from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. A recipient of an academic scholarship, a dance scholarship and the Mercyhurst College Board of Associate Achievement Award as the outstanding graduate in the Creative Arts Division, Lori studied under Lawrence Jones, Marcia Dale Weary, Madame Valentine Bevlova, Ismet Mouhedin, Moss Cohen, Harolyn Gaudette, Ed Ambrose, Matteo and Carola Goya. She has taught, performed and choreographed for the Erie Civic Ballet, Dance Theatre of Erie, the Bayfront Ballet in Erie, the Benvin Dance and Performing Arts Center/ North Hills Community Ballet company and Michele's Dance Center all in Pittsburgh. Career highlights include Adjunct Faculty in Dance at Mercyhurst College, appearing as an extra with Bette Davis in a Universal Studios television movie, and meeting Alexandra Danilova.
Another relocation brought Lori and family to Flemington. As part of the Sacred Arts Ministry at Flemington United Methodist Church, Lori has been choreographing and teaching children from 1st through 12th grades for the past five years. She has also choreographed two musicals for the Reading-Fleming Middle School: Bye, bye Birdie and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ms. Koller has been on the staff at Allworthy School of Dance for four years where she enjoys teaching classical ballet technique to aspiring dancers.
