About the River Ballet Company
The River Ballet Company is a nonprofit ballet company that provides training and performing opportunities for its members. Each year, dancers ages nine and up audition for positions in the ballet company. Children who are not company members can audition for special parts in the company's annual Nutcracker production.
The Nutcracker is performed by the company every year in December. In addition, the ballet company has an annual Spring Performance. Giselle, Coppelia, Pas de Quatre, and Les Sylphides are some of the ballet company's past Spring productions.
The River Ballet Company is under the artistic direction of Victoria Szeplaki with Lori Koller as the assistant director.
As a separate entity, The River Ballet Company uses facilities at the River Ballet Academy, located in the heart of Flemington, New Jersey.
The ballet company reaches out to the local area and surrounding communities to promote a better understanding of and appreciation for the Art of Dance.
