2006 Nutcracker Committees:
Program Ads Committee:
This committee has overall responsibility for soliciting sponsors, local businesses, family and friends for program ads to be included in the program, as well as distribution of posters and flyers to local businesses.
Usher Committee:
This committee is responsible for ushering individuals to their appropriate seats before and during performances.
Candy Gram Committee:
This committee has responsibility of buying, creating candy grams, selling, collecting sales profit, and distributing candy grams to performers.
Concession Committee:
This committee is responsible for purchasing snacks at BJs Wholesale, selling snacks during intermission and collecting sales profit.
Merchandise Committee:
This committee is responsible for the selling of merchandise that is in inventory. Responsibilities include sales and money collection.
Backstage Committee:
This committee is responsible for overall room structures of cast members. Duties will include, but are not limited to – assisting cast members with costume changes, organizing snacks and activities for younger cast members, maintaining order and structure, and keeping non-performing cast members off backstage and side stages.
Flower Committee:
This committee has responsibility of flower arrangements, establishing advance order process, money collection, and flower distribution to customers. This committee also assumes responsibilities of flower arrangements for Director, Associate Director, and lead cast members.
Holiday Parade Committee:
This committee will be responsible for assisting in the design and decorating of the float for the 2006 Flemington Holiday Parade.
Costume Committee:
This committee is responsible for making alterations to costumes – sewing, tacking, etc., as well as costume tracking during the performances.
Snack Committee (Pre-Sorytelling):
This committee is responsible for snack purchasing for Girl Scout troops after story-telling session before the performance. Responsibilities include setup and cleanup as well (cafeteria).
Stage Props Committee:
This committee will be responsible for assisting with stage setup. Responsibilities include but are not limited to decorating Christmas tree, wrapping gift boxes & toys for the performances; and restoring/repairing props if needed.
Girl Scouts Committee:
This committee is responsible for planning and coordination of the entire Girl Scout project with Rolling Hills Girl Scouts. Responsibilities include main contact for group leaders, organizing dates for show performances, assisting with story-telling event before performances, collection of Try-It badges for brownie troops, scheduling dates for troops at Allworthy Studios for 2007, etc.
